# Do I need to be a programmer or know how to code to participate?

It will help, but you don’t need to. You will, however, need to have someone on your team who is able to build your idea. If you don’t know anyone personally, come join our weekly Free Thinkers builders calls and chat in the Builders channel on Discord to connect with community members who may be able to help!
